About Our Media Center
Welcome to the Catalina Elementary Media Center
Fueling Curiosity, Inspiring Readers, and Helping Students Take Flight!
The Media Center at Catalina Elementary is the heart of our school, a vibrant, welcoming space where students develop a love for reading, explore new ideas, and grow as lifelong learners. Our goal is to support academic achievement while nurturing imagination and creativity.
Students visit the Media Center regularly to check out books, engage in interactive literacy activities, conduct research, and participate in schoolwide reading challenges. We also provide access to digital resources, technology tools, and collaborative learning experiences that empower students to become confident, independent thinkers.
With the guidance of our dedicated media specialist, the Media Center plays a key role in supporting classroom learning, promoting digital citizenship, and encouraging every child to read, lead, and succeed.
At Catalina Elementary, we believe that every great journey begins with a good book and our Media Center is ready to help students take off on that journey!
