Principal’s Message

Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year at Catalina Elementary!

Dear Catalina Colts Families, A professional headshot of a Black woman with dark, wavy hair, smiling warmly.

Welcome to Catalina Elementary! It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year.

At Catalina, we believe every child has unique talents, unlimited potential, and the ability to achieve great things. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed each day.

We are incredibly proud to have earned an A school grade, and we celebrate the dedication and perseverance that made this achievement possible. We've landed in excellence, but our journey doesn't end here. With our Boots on the Ground and Excellence in Action, we remain committed to inspiring every student to learn, lead, grow, and achieve even greater success this school year.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for every Colt to discover their strengths and reach their fullest potential. We believe every child can succeed when school and home work together.

Now more than ever, we need our families and community partners to join us in this important work. Whether you volunteer in a classroom, mentor a student, participate in school events, or become a Partner in Education, your time, talents, and support make a lasting difference in the lives of our students. Together, we can continue building a culture of excellence where every child feels supported, encouraged, and empowered to achieve their dreams.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for choosing to be an active part of the Catalina family. I invite you to stay connected, get involved, and partner with us throughout the school year. Together, we will continue to put our Boots on the Ground and keep Excellence in Action for every Colt, every day.

I look forward to an incredible year of learning, growth, and success!

Warmly,

Adriene Anderson
